About Us
Hello and welcome to the Minitokyo Review! One section of Minitokyo in particular is badly neglected, and that is the Reviews section. This group is for people who have and are willing to spend time to write reviews and plot synopses for the various anime and games represented in the galleries to give those who are curious a better idea of where particular scans and wallpapers are from. If you have some skill with words, have watched a good number of series in their entirety, and have submitted at least one review on Minitokyo, by all means, feel free to apply for the group (^_^)
Submitting Plot Synopses
If you would like to submit a plot synopsis for a particular anime series, please send it to saikusa with the following information: the title of the series, an alternate title if applicable, the year the series was originally released, the number of episodes in the series, and the plot synopsis itself, which should be one or two paragraphs in length. No spoilers, please! If you find that a series is conspicuously missing from the galleries, especially continuations or spinoffs of ones with existing categories, please post in the guestbook with the title of the series, if not an entire plot synopses. Or, use the New Category Request thread.
If you're unsure of what to put in certain sections of reviews, check out the Review's Guide.

All right. After a SFA weekend, I've pulled out a review for Silent Mobius (the TV series). Probably one of the few "mainstream" series on MT without a review so far. Absent no longer.
I've updated our group's page to reflect the addition of Milkiyo's Last Exile review.
Yayy... now we're a group.
Enjoyed your vacation?
Yay now it's 5 people talking here!
aww sho you're no fun. nevermind then.
oh! yay!
you're gonna have to change the number to 4 soon though :P
I always compose my reviews in a separate editor (TextEdit for Macs, Notepad for Windows if you must), which gives me much more breathing space to look at my content. Then, like Jak suggests, simply copy-and-paste the content into the respective boxes. This way you always have a backup if things go pear-shaped and you lose a lot of work and effort. I'd also suggest avoid the likes of Word or OpenOffice (or similar). They always bundle in extra crap formatting, particularly Word with its "smart quotes" and replace as you type features, that do not translate well into the MT environment.
P.S. You'll notice I've updated the staff roster to add our newest member - so its official.
Ever since the creation of my first review I've been wanting that, too. And I think the same goes for all of us.
I use my guestbook to preview each section of my review. Type it in notepad first then copy-paste to my guestbook, hit preview then paste it in the review submission form.
And btw, welcome to the group.

Mac are teh futures!
hmm..I have some suggestions for the review options. Shouldn't there be a review preview button? It gets annoying having to update to see what you are actually typing (consider the puny box for you to type- scrolling doesn't help either as you miss the upper parts). The pics also disappear everytime I edit it and I kept having to upload them again.
ok..I am done with the review..I think.
